Tuesday night, September 7, was my husband’s birthday AND our annual stash sale! Guess which event was more exciting for me??? Everyone brings the most fantastic things to share, at the most fantastic prices. . . and each of us shamefully INCREASES, rather than DECREASES our STABLE (Stash Accumulation Beyond Life Expectancy). . .it’s sad and happy all at the same time!
This year two of our members, Betty H. and Debbie M., set up a table display of all the wonderful handmade items they make and sell at shows and through individual sales. . .
I’m sorry to say that unfortunately, the Jackie du Plessis workshop on the 18th & 19th of September has been canceled. But there are exciting times ahead for TRSG workshops. . .
Stacy Nash, of Stacy Nash Primitives, has been booked for a workshop March 12 & 13, 2011, and will share a custom design for our guild. Sign ups will begin at the October meeting. . .and Sherri Jones, of Patrick’s Woods, is scheduled to come September 18, 2011, to teach Ring of Roses. Sign up is available now.
This year’s guild Christmas party will be hosted by Kim L. at the home of Gloria M. on the 1st Tuesday of December, at the regular guild meeting time. We hope everyone will choose to participate in the ornament exchange, but invite your attendance at the party with or without an ornament. There will be a sign up for food just like last year.
