We had an excellent program for the APRIL Tudor Rose Sampler Guild meeting. Lynne Anderson, Director of the Sampler Archive Project, gave a lecture instructing about Mexican samplers. The lecture was titled, ‘”Dechados”, Mexican Samplers across Time and Space.’ We saw a fabulous array of beautiful Mexican samplers and learned what makes them unique and different from other samplers throughout the world. I think it is safe to say that many of us went scrambling looking for Mexican reproduction patterns to stitch for our own walls. In the following days some of our members shared some they had stitched.
Each month our members submit photos of their finishes to share at the Guild meeting. Needles were on fire as evidenced by the following photos. Enjoy!
Thank you stitchers for your beautiful submissions. Keep Stitching!
