Our April program welcomed Christy Baty and Erin Moody from Relics in Situ to present a lecture on The Legend of the Tudor Rose. The lecture was a fascinating look into the origin of our namesake flower and the importance of its image in English iconography and, of course, embroidery.
Our members have been quite busy over the past month and it is always a delight to see what their needles have created.

So fun to see some finishes from some of our previous programs and workshops!
In May, our program will be a lecture by Dawn Cook Ronningen of Collector with a Needle on Ladies Waist Pockets. We will also have a guild-exclusive project that Dawn designed for Tudor Rose called Mary Ann Bickertonโs Tudor Rose Pocket. Members can purchase the pattern for a limited time and Dawn is also offering a finishing kit through her site. We can’t wait to welcome Dawn back to our guild!
