The guild gathered together early in the month for our annual holiday party. We enjoy a potluck dinner and an ornament exchange. You may recall back in June we started working on a band sampler as a guild in order to create a unique gift for the Presbytery. Debbie put all of the finished bands together and attached them to the wooden cross. The finished piece is absolutely amazing and I’m sure the Presbytery was very appreciative of our gift.
Debbie included a note on the back with the information on the piece and that it was presented by the Tudor Rose Sampler Guild to the Presbytery.
We had a fantastic array of food, as usual.
It’s always exciting to see all the ornaments wrapped and ready for our exchange too!
Here is a look at all the ornaments our members made for the exchange. One of my favorite parts of the party!
And here’s a closer look at each one.
Here’s wishing you a wonderful holiday season and a happy 2019. We won’t meet in January since our regular meeting day falls on the first, so our next meeting will be February. See you then!
