March 2025 Show & Tell

The program for our March meeting was an account of (current president) Cyndi’s needlework over the years. It showed an impressive range of pieces and skills. Below are pieces stitched and shared by members.

Stitched by Mariet N.: “Mary Fosh by running with needles and scissors totally done. I made it my own and used colors I had available in Maine . I think it looks great the cartouche has my mom and dadโ€™s initials and the year they got married. Instead of the verse I made the alphabet using the letters in the verse and designing the ones that were not there.”
Stitched by Mariet N.: “My comfort and joy by plum street sampler started around December 15 for Christmas stitching. I wanted a house Christmas trees and snow . ( can you see I live in California where all this is impossible ) love my piece and did not do the words.”

Next month’s program, April 2025, will feature Katie Strachan (of Katie Strachan Embroidery) talking about her Britomart Sampler design which was inspired by the Britomart Casket.
