Out of all the months of the year, October is one of those that people really love. The cooler weather along with the beautiful fall hues of the trees as they change color and the snow starting to cover the peaks in the Rocky Mountain range. It is a time when we start to focus on our seasonal projects – whether they be those that remined us of the warm colors of fall, the fun and dark side of Halloween, the bountiful blessings of Thanksgiving, and the joyous celebrations coming up in December. This is most definitely a favorite time of year for needle workers.
As you will see from the following show and tell projects from our October meeting, the members of the guild are already looking forward to the seasons ahead.
At the meeting, one of our members Debra B, presented the annual guild holiday ornament, which she generous designed. All of us will be stitching the ornament this month and we will learn how to finish it at our November meeting. Thank you Debra for a beautiful ornament!
