It’s September and time for our Annual Stash Sale! This is always a great time to go through our stash and find all those charts and fabrics that might need a new home; plus the added bonus is creating room for more fun stash! The Stash Sale is always a lot of fun, and 10% of the proceeds goes to the guild.
And of course, once we were done shopping, we were able to spend the rest of the meeting visiting and stitching!
There were some beautiful things for show and tell this month!
Mary D. brought in this finished piece. Crazy Love by Cricket Collection. Mary is always stitching these wonderful gifts for family and friends who are getting married; what a great way to pass the time, constantly thinking about what a gift love is! And her piece is just beautiful!
Sarra B. brought in her Heart in Hand – Halloween Markings. Isn’t this cute? Kicking off that fall season the right way!
Mendie C. brought in her latest Brazilian embroidery finish. She finished it as the top of her sewing basket!
Look at the dimension!
Marie Z. brought in this super cute Stacy Nash piece, called Patriotic Pocket. I love this one!
Jana K. brought in her finished beaded fob that was a program at Greater Dallas EGA last week! Speedy!!
Jana also brought in her gorgeous finished Ackworth Friendship Book by With My Needle. She had several friends stitch panels for her and now it’s all finished! Gorgeous!
Jean N. brought in several pieces to share. The first is a Cindy Valentine piece called Tropical Punch.
Isn’t the little fob cute?
The second piece Jean brought in is an ornament from a Danish book of designs. I love this!
And finally Jean brought in this finished Little House Needleworks ornament called Snowy Pines.
Another fun meeting! And remember, now that you’ve done some stashing, it’s time to do some stitching!
It was so wonderful to see the beautiful finishes by the very talented members of your sampler guild.
I would love to feature Jana's Ackworth Friendship Book on my blog. Can you please either ask her to send me photos and a description or send me her email address so that I can ask her myself.
