March 2022 Monthly Meeting

At the monthly meeting we will have a brief business meeting with updates on programs, workshops, etc.  After the business meeting we will have show & tell where members can share their finished projects with the group.

March’s program will be a lecture on “Quaker Samplers in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware”.

Quaker girls in the mid-Atlantic states stitched samplers in a variety of styles. Cynthia Shank Steinhoff will discuss styles, show examples of each type of sampler, and schools where Quaker girls learned their needlework skills. She will also discuss the girls who made them.

Our meeting will be virtual and the link will be sent out on Sunday before the meeting.

We welcome guests if you want to give us a try before joining.
