Tricia Wilson Nguyen Lecture on 17th & 18th Century Nuremberg Samplers
Tricia Wilson Nguyen with Thistle Threads will be presenting her research on Nuremberg samplers of the 17th and 18th century and their pattern books/designers.
During the lecture, a methodology on how to examine pieces against pattern books will be shown and interesting stories about the women who printed the patterns, taught samplers and made them will be explored.
At the monthly meeting we will have a brief business meeting with updates on programs, workshops, etc. After the business meeting we will have show & tell where members can share their finished projects with the group.
Our meeting will be virtual and the link will be sent out on Sunday before the meeting.
