Product Description
How do you take 35 count Ivory Wichelt linen, Gold Accentuate, a spool of 100.3, seven Needlepoint Inc. silks, seven stitches, and some finishing supplies and turn them into a self-lined, triangular shaped Christmas Ornament with a trap door on the back that can double as a holiday scissor keeper?
This unusual design, produced especially for the Tudor Rose Sampler Guild by Cissy Bailey Smith of Gentle Pursuit Designs, features cross stitch, Florentine stitch, and Nun stitch, as well as two different types of silk. The kit includes all the threads, linen (32ct, 35ct, or 40ct), and instructions needed to stitch and finish the ornament. The designer will review the instructions in detail, as well as give tips and tricks, at the November meeting.
Note: In addition to the ornament, Cissy has hinted that she is adding a small extra that would be perfect for anyone planning to use the ornament as a scissor-keeper.
Cutoff date to purchase kits is July 28, 2024.
