Ann Simpson is a colorful 18th Century Scottish sampler reproduced by Robin Laukhuf from Olde Willow Stitchery. The sampler is stitched in all cross stitches and is appropriate for stitchers of all skill levels. The finished piece is 320 stitches wide by 270 stitches high. The workshop will be held via Zoom Saturday, September 7 from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Central time.

Product Description

Ann Simpson is a colorful 18th Century Scottish sampler reproduced by Robin Laukhuf of Olde Willow Stitchery. Ann attended St. Andrews School. Her sampler contains the characteristics of a Scottish sampler, including the ancestorsโ€™ letters in the upper right and lower right. Fifty flowers in varying colors are included in the border. The baskets, trees, and flowers are also signs that this is a Scottish Sampler. The sampler is completed in all cross stitch over two threads and is appropriate for stitchers of all skill levels. The finished piece is 320 stitches wide by 270 stitches high.

The workshop will take place September 7, 2024 via Zoom, 10 a.m. โ€“ 2:30 p.m. Central time and is open to all current Guild members. Registration will close at 5 p.m. central Friday, July 26.

Robin has provided us with several options for linen and threads. Each kit will include Fox and Rabbit โ€œBaked Clayโ€ linen in the stitcherโ€™s choice of 36, 40 or 46 count as well as a choice of NPI silks or Weeks Dye Works cotton overdyed threads.

Pricing is as follows:
36 count linen with NPI silks: $158.00
36 count linen with WDW threads: $118.00
40 count linen with NPI silks: $156.00
40 count linen with WDW threads: $116.00
46 count linen with NPI silks: $153.00
46 count linen with WDW threads: $113.00

Kits will be mailed directly to members for a fee of $10 (shipping cost is included in kit prices).

Refund Policy

Your kit fee is your NONREFUNDABLE deposit. There will be an additional fee assessed to cover the teaching fees/travel expenses.

The kit fee is NONREFUNDABLE.

Teaching and travel fees will be split amongst the workshop attendees. We calculate the fee using the total number of attendees.
If you are unable to attend on the day of the workshop you are still required to pay the teaching fee.
