Product Description

Merry Cox has taught many workshops across the country. Merry is a very distinguished and highly respected needleworker in the industry. TRSG is extremely fortunate to have her share her workshops with us!

This lovely and compact sewing set features birds feasting on red berries. There is a sewing case which measures 3โ€ x 2 ยผโ€ when closed. Inside this wonderful case is a silk pocket for needle threader as well as vintage linen pages that lift to show a small stitched pocket for a treasure. Vintage ribbon is used for the closure.

To complete the set, there is a mattress type pincushion and petite scissors case, all housed in a beautiful colonial oval divided tray.

Stitches include: Tent Stitch โ€˜over 1โ€™, Cross Stitch โ€˜over 1โ€™, Cross Stitch over 2, Smyrna Cross Stitch, Herringbone Stitch, Stem Stitch, Alternating Double Backstitch and Nun Stitch. Note: Most of the stitching is โ€˜over 1โ€™.

Kit includes: 32-count linen, silk threads, divided tray and all finishing materials. Scissors not included.

Additional details:
  • The classes will start at 9:00 am Pacific Standard time, so please adjust to your time zone. The classes will take place on Zoom.
  • Kits should reach you no later than 1 week before the workshop takes place.
  • There will be an additional charge for shipping and the teacherโ€™s fee once the kits have been mailed and will be due one week prior to the workshop.
  • There is no pre-stitching requirement for the class.
Please make sure you can attend the class, as we do not encourage guild members to buy the kit but not attend class. Merry does not have an attendance requirement, but her classes are wonderful and well worth attending.

Refund Policy

Your kit fee is your NONREFUNDABLE deposit. There will be an additional fee assessed to cover the teaching fees/travel expenses.

The kit fee is NONREFUNDABLE.

Teaching and travel fees will be split amongst the workshop attendees. We calculate the fee using the total number of attendees.
If you are unable to attend on the day of the workshop you are still required to pay the teaching fee.
