Product Description
Dawn Cook Ronningen of Collector with a Needle has designed this ladies waist pocket based on a ca. 1818 sampler in her collection stitched by Mary Ann Bickerton. Members can purchase this guild-exclusive design as a PDF to accompany her May 2024 program lecture. The pattern includes the chart, a supply list, and finishing instructions. This pocket was designed for 36 Count linen with a thread key for silk or DMC to be worked from stash. The PDF will be emailed to members in early April after the April 2024 meeting.
NOTE: An optional finishing kit will be available directly from Collector with a Needle’s Etsy shop for $18. The finishing kit will include 19th century reproduction cottons for lining and binding and vintage tape for waist ties. Look for “Exclusive TRSG Finishing Kit.”
