First Stitched Exchange with Secret Stitchers

Secret Stitchers have been giving little gifts to each other for months now, however, the February guild meeting was the first time to exchange a stitched piece. There was quite a bit of excitement and anticipation as packages and bags were opened and gifts were revealed. What a treat to see all the lovely offerings! We truly have the finest stitchers of any needlework guild anywhere! Just take a look – – –

Carol E. gave an extensive slide presentation on “Samplers in the DAR Museum Collection”. For information on the collection, the slide presentation, or the museum itself, contact the Museum.

Commitment cards were collected for the 2010 MAGIC program.

Members were given the opportunity to vote on their choice for the upcoming Jackie du Plessis workshop September 18th & 19th. Teaching pieces may be seen at It’s Fine-ally Finished.
