Mary D. shared information at the meeting about the Nancy Renssela Sampler Class taught by Linda Lautenschlager, of Chessie & Me. Linda discovered the unfinished sampler and tells the history of samplers and motifs. The stitcher then finishes the sampler using chosen motifs; kit includes Lakeside linen and Bell Soie silks. Pending enough interest, Linda will teach the class in Sept. or Oct. of 2012.Sherri Jones, of Patrick’s Woods, comes this fall to teach “Ring of Roses”; she also includes a lecture about miserly persons.
